Genesis House in New York City has teamed up with celebrity floral designer Jeff Leatham to launch BLOOMTANICA, a multi-sensory floral exhibition and Leatham’s first ever digital installation.
Open May 2nd through June 9th, visitors can explore the sophisticated and sleek Genesis House as it is decked out in thousands of florals, creating an immersive journey of nature and technology. Inspired by traditional Korean gardens blended with Leatham’s signature style, BLOOMTANICA showcases cascading displays in the showroom, winding mirrored columns, and a full LED experience in the Cellar Stage.
“It has been an incredible journey working with Genesis House to bring BLOOMTANICA to life,” said Jeff Leatham. “Blurring the lines between nature and technology was an exciting new challenge for me, and I’m beyond proud of the world we’ve created together combining the beauty of our floral designs with the rich cultural ambience at Genesis House.”
Guests sipped on floral-themed cocktails and nibbled on signature bites from the restaurant, I ncluding dumplings, fried chicken and mini ice cream cones.
Notable guests included Whoopi Goldberg, Jessica Wang, Laura Kim, Andrew Kwon, Fernando Garcia, author Jill Brooke, Vance Walker and Katya Bychkova.
