TV stands are usually neglected in today’s interior design. Adding a dynamic touch to any room it is placed in, this particular project is visually hard to miss.
Seen on Contemporist, Bloom TV Stand was envisioned by Dutch designer Léon van Zanten and comes with a highly original appearance, easy to integrate in contemporary minimalist interiors: “Bloom has the shape of a vase so that the television automatically becomes the flower of the whole“- explained designer Léon van Zanten.
The material used to shape up this original TV stand deserves special attention: “By combining the various layers of Birch wood and the shape of Bloom impressive lines are expressed. It’s varnished three times and because of the round shape, the result is a surface you want to touch. Because it is hollow, the cables are neatly out of sight and exit the TV-stand through the hole on the back“. For more information about the product, you can contact the designer directly.
