Workout!? Oh yeah… that resolution we made a few days ago. We felt semi-safe from the sweat, procrastinating until we found a kicka$$ workout wardrobe. But now, Adidas and Stella McCartney have announced their upcoming collaboration — StellaSport — and we’re antsy to get all athletic.
“It takes the Stella girl from the campus to the club and finds a link in sport and technology without sacrificing style,” McCartney told WWD in an announcement about the line. “There are signature moments, like our new self-laced sneakers, that give individual personality. These pieces are designed to complement your life and be totally realistic that fashion and sport technology are here to stay as a huge part of our life and wardrobes, and this is the attitude we are shouting about.”
It’s not like Stella’s previous collections with Adidas over the last ten years haven’t been a big success. But to follow up with those fans and cater to some younger cross trainers, StellaSport will introduce all-new apparel, accessories — and yes, those sneakers she mentioned –starting January 15th. The collection will be available online, at Adidas, TopShop and Nordstrom stores.
And if you don’t actually want to sweat in them? Just sport ’em for street style.
