News from Pershing Yachts on their new superyacht.
Pershing Yachts founder Tilli Antonelli and Ital Projects’ Fulvio De Simoni just unveiled the groundbreaking new Pershing 108 in Milan. The 108 marks the first time the famed shipyard has fitted split engines in one of its superyacht designs, with the aim of matching high-performance to economy (within reason). The standard version comes powered by three 1815kW MTU diesel engines combined with three Arneson surface propellers producing a total speed of 41 knots. With an emphasis on flexibility, the 108 can reach a range of 1,070 nm using only the central engine at 11 knots; alternatively a cruising speed of 23 knots can be maintained by operating two of the engines. – From James List
