A beautiful new superyacht from Oceanco.
Oceanco’s shipyard in the Netherlands is known for producing some of the most creative custom superyachts around the world. The firm’s 82-meter (269-foot) Alfa Nero, launched in 2007, won the coveted International Superyacht Society award for best-in-class design as well as other awards for exterior design and interior styling. A later launch, Anastasia, was as exceptional, but the 75.5-meter (247-foot) superyacht was designed as an expedition yacht. Vibrant Curiosity, the yard’s most recent launch, continues the tradition of mixing intelligent engineering with elegant design but in a different package. The 85-meter (280-foot) yacht was designed by Nuvolari & Lenard, a Venice, Italy-based firm with its own share of award-winning yacht designs. The exterior is contemporary with a classic look, including an expansive teak-covered foredeck and sprawling aft decks on each level and signature set of curves along the side passages of the top deck. The yacht also has three stainless-steel strips that climb the yacht’s sides and meet over the black radome like silver ribbons on a gift. – From Robb Report
