Australian racing driver Mark Webber is to lend his face to the 2015-16 campaign for Porsche Design Fragrances, the brand announced on Friday.
“We are delighted that with Mark Webber, we have managed to secure an outstanding sportsman for the Porsche Design Fragrances,” says Dilesh Mehta, CEO of SA Designer Parfums, Porsche Design’s license partner. “Mark Webber embodies masculinity, athleticism and the kind of stylishness our products also represent. The striking new campaign combines the essential values of the Porsche Design brand with Webber’s charismatic personality.”
Specifically, Webber will feature in the campaign for Porsche Design Titan, a fragrance defined by notes of grapefruit and cedar wood in a purist high-tech flacon.
“The Porsche Design Fragrances scents are elegant and have a strong character. They emphasise my personal style and are a perfect match – both on and off the track. The partnership with Porsche Design and their technology inspired products are a natural fit for me,” Webber added.
The former Formula One driver will this weekend contest the 24-Hour race of Le Mans along with fellow drivers Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley in a Porsche 919 hybrid.
The luxury brand Porsche Design was founded in 1972. Products are sold in the brand’s own shops, as well as in franchises, concessions, high-end department stores and specialist retailers, and at www.porsche-design.com.
