Ken Kelly’s Mego Micronauts original artwork is currently up for auction on eBay, with the asking price of $375,000 (no bids yet, but you can here). In 1979, the Mego toy company commissioned Kelly to create the card cover art for the popular Micronauts toy line and comicbook series. The eBay auction is for the original 7 paintings (and only 8 exist). Kelly was Frank Frazetta’s only student and the Micronauts artwork consists of some of his earliest published works.
