Designed by Nottingham-based creative design and build team Phillip Watts Design for a private client, the sculptural staircase displays a fascinating interplay of materials that resulted in a luxurious organic design. Glass and timber details evoke the unity between natural and man-made materials, while the spine design gives a deep impact to the overall look of the space. The metal elements give the feeling of a strong, unbreakable staircase while the glass is reminiscent of its fragility.
