Designed by DSDG Inc. Architects, the splendid Picture Frame House demands attention by displaying a superb modern architecture that makes both the owners and the design/construction teams proud. The Sarasota-based architectural studio DSDG Inc. Architects collaborated with Voigt Brothers Construction in order to design and build the luxurious residence you can see in the photos below. Located in southwestern coastal city of Florida – Sarasota – the fascinating architectural masterpiece gathers views from all angles, conquering the owner’s hearts with 360 degree views of downtown Sarasota, the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay and New Pass.
Stretching over 6,400 square feet, the modernly furnished interiors were displayed in a reverse floor plan – the secondary spaces were placed on the first floor, while the great room, kitchen and master bedroom were lifted to the second floor, where magnificent views complete the living experience. The garage and guest house were placed in the front of the property, while the main house was pushed back to the rear, allowing owners to enjoy the privacy of a cleverly built residential construction. A semi-enclosed courtyard allows the surrounding building to develop a strong connection between the interior spaces and the exterior ones. The first level lap pool and walkway is completed with a second level bridge connecting the volumes. Lined on one side with fire bowls and with royal palm trees on the other, the courtyard connects the different levels and spaces of the house, welcoming guests and owners in a common outside space.
