Wine Spectator’s New York Wine Experience October 19-21st, 2023 

Coming to the New York Marriott Marquis in NYC from October 19-21 is Wine Spectator’s New York Wine Experience. Over the course of three days, guests can taste a plethora of wines with the world’s best vintners, including top-scoring bottlings and rare older vintages. Seminars featuring special guests California Governor Gavin Newsom and Sarah Jessica Parker are some of the highlights, as well as evening Grand Tastings, each pouring bottles rated 90 points or higher. Thursday-Saturday, October 19-21, 2023. Tickets are limited/ $400 per evening for Critics’ Choice Grand Tastings or Weekend Package for $2,795.

Caviar Russe – Artful Evening Hosted By David Drebin (Thursday, October 26 at 7pm)

Caviar Russe is hosting an evening with acclaimed photographer David Drebin, celebrating his works and new book Flirting With Danger. The cocktail event will feature passed hors d’oeuvres and talks with the artist whose artworks are also showcased in the restaurant’s bar/lounge. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in NYC, David Drebin is a multidisciplinary artist working in various art forms producing limited edition works including Photographs, Lightboxes, Neon Light Installations, Diamond Dust works and more. Drebin’s artworks also known as “Drebins” are unique and instantly recognizable as his own. His artistic style is often described as epic, dramatic and, above all, cinematic. The event will take place from 7-10p, with passed food and drinks for $150 per person and can be booked here.

 

 Blue Moon at Fandi Mata

Entertainment Group Hybrid Movements Company (the people behind House of Yes and Paradise Club) and Fandi Mata have teamed up for new monthly dinner show on the last Thursday of every month. “Blue Moon’ celebrates the phases of the moon with acrobatics, dance, theater, music and art paired with Fandi Mata’s artful cuisine. ExperienceFirst Unofficial Succession Tour 

 Obsessed with HBO’S Succession and all things Roy family? While in NYC, Follow the steps of the Roy family for a day. Visit filming locations and hear real-life stories behind the hit show on a two-hour tour around downtown NYC. Spend the day in the life of a Waystar Royco executive, exploring the iconic Woolworth Building (Rava’s penthouse and one of the world’s most expensive properties) to Zuccotti Park (the site of Occupy Wall Street) and the Downtown Heliport (frequently used by the Roy’s).

Chefs 4 Impact Fundraiser at Wythe Hotel

On Monday, October 30 from 6 to 10 p.m, Wythe Hotel will be hosting the FoodxArt Show, a celebration of sustainable eating that combines art, food, music and community. A portion of proceeds from tickets and onsite art sales will support youth programming at Chefs 4 Impact, a nonprofit advancing education around sustainable food systems. Tickets for FoodxArt Show start at $35, which also includes a Champagne welcome and 5 course hors d’oeuvres from Jake Leiber and Aidan O’Neal, the chefs behind Wythe Hotel’s onsite culinary destinations, Le Crocodile and Bar Blondeau.
