Nautilus Restaurant, Beijing

If you are one to enjoy a meal surrounded by a sumptuous setting, then perhaps this restaurant will appeal to you. Nautilus was designed by by Design Spirits and is located in Singapore. Its sophisticated and opulent atmosphere only responds to exquisite customer tastes.

According to the brief they were handed by the clients, the designers wanted this restaurant to be interactive and to have a large degree of elegance. They achieved these goals by choosing an open plan, with curbed walls and and interesting game of light and shades. The chairs are blue, a bold color which makes a delightful contrast with the rest of the furniture and decorations, creating intriguing visual effects.

The entrance of the restaurant is highly original, as it is flanked on one side by an oyster bar and on the other side by trays of fresh crustaceans on ice. All these make the visitors crave for culinary delights, even before they sit down at the table.

With an overall modern feel, a lighting scheme that is complex and appealing, this place creates a refined atmosphere, perfect for important discussions as well as for taking some time off, the stylish way. For those in need of privacy, there are some intimate “nests” available, that ensure a peaceful dining experience for two.
