Kristen Stewart has been crowned as the newest face of Chanel Make-up. The 25 year old American actress, renowned for playing the protagonist Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga film series, joins the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Keira Knightley who are also the ambassadors for the French brand’s beauty world.
Stewart’s first makeup campaign called Collection Eyes 2016 features black-and-white portrait shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino. Chanel is promoting Stewart in “a series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman”.
Stewart, who has been favored by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, has already fronted 2013 Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas and 2016 Métiers d’Art Paris in Rome campaigns. She has also starred in Chanel’s Spring Summer 2015 Eyewear advertising campaign as well as played the role of Coco Chanel in Karl Lagerfeld’s film.
