Kalologie Medspa at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells is Palm Springs’ Newest Wellness Destination

Pursuitist - 5-Star Luxury

There’s nothing like a wellness escape to Greater Palm Springs where the warmth of the sun, the cool of the pools, and the devotion to personal wellbeing is second to none. Spa culture is alive and very well indeed in the beautiful Coachella Valley desert where many of California’s best destination spas help visitors thrive.

The luxe Agua Serena Spa at the 45-acre Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort has always been a personal favorite due to its relaxing indoor/outdoor campus in a building separate from the resort’s 530 guest rooms, suites and villas, two adjacent golf courses, and a large complex of swimming pools. Agua Serena Spa feels even more complete now with the opening of its new wellness facility in collaboration with Kalologie Medspa. It’s the newest clinic for the leading aesthetic and wellness brand, complementing the resort’s signature body treatments and facial services with beauty and wellbeing services.

The new Kalologie facility has four private treatment rooms and an IV lounge for a range of treatments including IV hydration therapy, B12 energy boosts, Botox, dermal fillers and body contouring. Additional therapies include platelet-rich plasma facials to restore and revitalize skin, plus rejuvenation therapies such as microneedling, which enhances collagen production and reduces scarring and wrinkles with minimal down time.

Kalologie is a leading aesthetic and wellness brand founded in 2004 that offers a comprehensive range of medspa services and proprietary skin care products. Named one of the country’s “Top Ten Spa Destinations” by Elle magazine, Kalologie operates a unique resort wellness model with other flagship locations in five-star properties in Las Vegas and California, and stand-alone clinics in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona.

“Our mission has always been to provide our guests with an elevated spa experience, and this new collaboration with Kalologie takes it to a whole new level,” said Adam Estrella, spa director for Agua Serena Spa. “Agua Serena Spa has long been one of the area’s most luxurious wellness facilities. We are excited to continue to build our wellness offerings in collaboration with such an esteemed brand known for its personalized approach to aesthetics.”

Surrounded by the picturesque beauty of the desert, the 30,000-square-foot Agua Serena Spa offers guests a diverse menu of spa treatments including signature treatments like the Desert Hot Stone Massage and the Serena Custom Facial. Agua Serena Spa has private men’s and women’s facilities, a lavish outdoor reflection pool, relaxation room, dry sauna, outdoor hot tub, boutique shop, and cold plunge with indoor and outdoor showers.

Hyatt Regency Indian Wells is the only resort in the Coachella Valley offering Floated Therapy. The newly introduced treatment provides allows guests to float freely in a zero-gravity flotation tank with saturated solutions of Epsom salt and water, removing the feeling of gravity, decompressing the spine, and inducing a deep relaxation that lowers cortiso, the stress hormone. Agua Serena Spa also recently introduced a Relax and Un-Wine vino-therapy experience that starts with a wine tasting of three varietals, followed by an exfoliating body treatment using antioxidant-rich organic Napa grapes, an outdoor rain shower, and a full body massage. Guests then relax with a glass of wine by the spa’s outdoor reflection pool. Now, that’s the kind of treatment “down time” we can really get behind.
