Looking for a fun piece of furniture that would allow your children to enjoy cleaning up after themselves while looking perfect next to your other modern furniture items? Then this Pin Pres will easily become your favorite shelf – you might just want to place it in the living room, rather that the kids room. Pin Pres was designed by OOO My Design – a design studio with offices in Valencia, Spain – and it offers a fun and colorful alternative to usual shelves.
Kids would have a lot of fun moving pins around to fit their different sized toys and books, while parents would enjoy their playful organizing skills. The Pin Pres kid’s room shelf won the Josep Ros furniture design competition, so hopefully it won’t be long until we see this concept turned into reality. Although this was created for children, I for one would love to get my hands on one of these – just imagine how much time would go into pushing those pins in and out to shape different silhouettes.
