Design studio Tjep envisioned and implemented some original interior elements for the Fabbrica Restaurant in Bergen, The Netherlands. Inspired by the environment of a factory, but having a welcoming and casual feel, this place is perfect for both outings with friend and romantic meals.
The design of Fabbrica Bergen Restaurant certainly does not lack originality: “We designed several elements for Restaurant Fabbrica in Bergen: the lovely train cabins with a new look and feel as compared to the ones we made for Fabbrica Rotterdam, a larger Pizza Oven covered with beautiful Bisazza tiles, and the very industrial wood containers that hold all the wood to fuel the oven and all the electricity to fuel the lights!”, explained the project team from design studio Tjep.
Fabbrica takes pride in being a genuine Italian pizzeria where the wood stove and Italian regional cuisine pay tribute to simplicity and honesty. Some of the culinary treats in the menu include lardo, bruschetta, homemade bucatini, risotto, fried sardines, grilled fish and pizza especially made in the wood-burning oven imported from Italy and located in the middle of the restaurant. The unit also hosts a wine bar, consisting mostly of Italian wines.
You can check out the official restaurant’s website, as well as some of the rates here.
