Why only drive a Bentley when you can also park yourself and sprawl all over it? Bentley Motors has unveiled its range of luxury home and executive furniture in Paris at the ongoing Maison & Objet fair (January 24-28, 2014).
The Parisian debut of the expanded Bentley Home Furniture follows the successful launch of the capsule collection which took place last year. Enhanced with new features, the whole elegant range has been carefully developed by the architect Carlo Colombo with Daniele Ceccomori, Bentley’s Head of Product Design. Inspired by the renowned craftsmanship and exquisite materials that characterize the interiors of all Bentley models, the collection comprises of luxuriously designed sofas, arm chairs, beds, side boards and more.
Sporting a neutral color theme featuring mocha, cognac, taupe, quartz, grey and ice, the collection also gets a bold and bright touch with purple-red, burgundy, brick red or blue hues. Clad with tactile leather, sensuous textiles, sophisticated velvets and the lightest of cashmeres, the range also screams Bentley with its signature quilted diamond pattern on leather upholstery.
The Richmond bed, pictured here, offers unrivaled comfort with its roomy design. The unique and elegant double shell is covered in quilted leather or precious briar root. This encompasses the headboard lined with sand-colored satin wool and highlighted with embroidered iconic flying wings logo.
The Ambassador sideboard is shaped in line with modern architectural themes. The steel gun-metal structure matches perfectly the fullness of the container module covered with lava-colored leather, briar root or Ebony Macassar veneering.
The above featured Butterfly armchair and sofa are designed to interpret Bentley’s style values. The deep, plush seat is encased in a shell quilted with Bentley’s iconic diamond pattern. While the fit-for-a-royal sofa is dressed in ivory leather, the armchair is covered in pinstriped fabric and quilted in fine, grey wool.
Bentley states that the Harlow armchair is the reinterpretation of the iconic film director’s chair, with a sophisticated and firm structure. The linear steel gun-metal base upholds the seating, made of cognac-coloured leather with a tufted manufacturing process in the internal part. The metal buckles with leather bands applied on the armrests references typical masculine style points.
The Minister sofa’s harmonious shape and flowing lines are highlighted through the subtle proportions of the arms with its unique curve. Available in leather or fabric, the body and seat come in distinguished purple-red velvet matched with burgundy velvet piping along the edges.
The suite of furniture and accessories, designed for home and office, captures the style of the Bentley driver through items that mirror the impeccable quality and attention to detail of the Crewe-based marque.
