The Peninsula Hong Kong has been renowned for its large fleet of customized Rolls-Royces. Now, Louis XIII hotel in Macau has grabbed the honor by purchasing the largest Rolls-Royce Phantom fleet in the world. Hong Kong based luxury entrepreneur Stephen Hung has placed a record-breaking order for 30 Bespoke Extended Wheelbase Phantoms for his upcoming Louis XIII hotel. Rolls Royce states that this transaction represents the world’s single largest order of Rolls-Royces ever. The highlight of the order is that two of the fleet will be the most expensive Rolls-Royce Phantoms ever commissioned.
Newly created bespoke elements have been applied extensively both to the interior and exterior of the cars including bespoke clocks designed and created by Graff Luxury Watches. The two most expensive Phantoms will additionally feature external and internal gold-plated accents.
The British auto-maker has also stepped in to design the parking and driveways to house the fleet at Louis XIII. Since such exclusive vehicles need to be handled with utmost care, Rolls Royce will also train Louis XIII’s chauffeurs from Macau. 2016 onward, the Phantom fleet, which is valued at $20 million, will chauffeur the guests of Louis XIII, located on the Cotai Strip in Macau. Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars states, “We at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are delighted and honoured that Mr Hung has commissioned Rolls-Royce to provide the largest single order of Phantoms in history. The Louis XIII fleet of Phantoms promises to be one of most impressive sights ever seen in Macau when they arrive at the Louis XIII hotel in 2016. Mr Hung’s commission reaffirms Phantom’s pinnacle position as the motor car of choice for those seeking to experience the finest luxury the world has to offer.”
Targeting the super wealthy from mainland China and around the world, Louis XIII is positioned as “the world’s most luxurious and extravagant hotel and casino. Scheduled to open in 2016, the hotel will offer around 230 duplex suites, 16 villas, the atelier and a Michelin-quality restaurant, in addition to the world’s most extravagant suite.
