Lumia 928 has finally arrived at Verizon (on Friday). Lighter and thinner than Lumia 920, with a slightly better camera, featuring a Xenon flash, that practically freezes the objects and reduces the blur, the phone launched under the slogan “the most innovative Lumia so far” is not as spectacular as the company promises. Ok, it has a wonderful 4.5-inch OLED, a 1,280 x 768 Gorilla Glass display and a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor but that doesn’t make it precious. The case is still made of plastic, so if the new 928 aims to compete with HTC One, Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5, it doesn’t have a chance!
For those who are not familiar with Nokia, the Lumia series runs on Windows. The 928 model is no exception. Comparing it to the previous 920 model, Lumia 928 comes only in black and white. The phone priced at $ 99.99 is available only at Verizon on a two-year contract. If you purchase the phone, you also get a $25 credit to spend it in Windows Phone store. Anyway, Nokia is preparing another big surprise: Lumia 925, also known as “the Catwalk”, a phone with an aluminium bodywork.
