The skies just got a whole lot more stylish, thanks to Virgin Atlantic. The trendsetting airline named Vivienne Westwood the official designer of new uniforms for their pilots, cabin crew, and airport staff.

The elegant yet classic look features a fitted red pencil skirt and double-breasted coat for women with her signature “hourglass” heel, and a hand-drawn wing motif repeated across all team members.

Male crew will be provided with a sharp Saville Row inspired three piece suit with a contemporary twist in a deep burgundy.

The 22-piece collection was trialed over the past year and now has been rolled out to more than 7,500 staffers. Flyers can see the new uniforms beginning September 1, but a large party last night in London, featuring Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson and special guests like Blondie rolled out the collection to the public.
