Whiskey is commonly appreciated as a drink served during a meal and also as after dinner drink. Raising the ante, the makers of one of the largest-selling single malt have teamed up with the best restaurant in the world to launch a whiskey themed dinner. The Macallan and El Celler de Can Roca have initiated the Masters of Taste adventure inspired by the flavors and aromas of the Scottish whiskey. Pairing the two to create an ultimate culinary relationship, the adventure will take off with six prestigious charity dinners at El Celler de Can Roca. Christened, The Ultimate Dinners with The Macallan and Roca, the charity dinners are open to a limited number people at a cost of $10,000 per head.
Bringing the best of both the worlds of gastronomy and whiskey making on to the table, the Ultimate Dinner is designed to be drool-worthy with exclusively designed dishes, inspired by the flavour and character of The Macallan. An outstanding range of Macallan whiskies from unreleased single cask malts through to M, the world’s most expensive whisky, The Macallan in Lalique 62 years old and the oldest single malt ever released by The Macallan distillery will be served to the lucky winners of the super-exclusive dinner. To make it more special, the combination of this menu and the collection of fine whiskies served for these six dinners will never ever be served again in the world.
