Spirit collectors and Gin drinkers can raise a toast to the world’s largest and most expensive bottle of Gin. UK based Silent Pool Distillers has launched the world’s only nine-litre bottle of gin valued at $7,000 (£5,000). The record-breaking bottle will be put on display at Hedonism Wines in Mayfair, London, on 10 March.Hand painted and signed by artist Laura Barrett, it contains the 24-botanical Silent Pool Gin. The design of the bottle is said to be inspired by ingredients of the gin, the area in which it is created, as well as local mythology. Silent Pool Gin contains botanicals such as Bosnian juniper, Bulgarian angelica, honey and grain of paradise. The nine-litre mega-bottle, which is also the world’s most expensive bottle of gin, has already made an appearance at an event at McLaren’s showroom at 100 Knightsbridge.
