Dubai, the land of the largest, the tallest and other record-setting landmarks is adding one more feather to its cap of wonders. United Arab Emirates is all set to welcome the world’s biggest Apple store in Dubai.
Apple fans in the Middle East can rejoice as the brand’s first ever store in the region, outside of Istanbul, is set to be located at the Mall of the Emirates. Spanning over 50,000-square-foot, the world’s largest brick-and-mortar Apple Store will throw its doors in August this year. A second Apple Store is expected to open in Abu Dhabi, at the newly-opened Yas Mall.
Though Apple has not been present physically with its flagship stores in the Emirates, the iPhone maker has a strong grip on the retail market with Apple’s Online Store UAE that opened in 2011. Also Apple products are being sold by its authorized re-sellers across Dubai, including all terminals at Dubai International airport. Apple considers the United Arab Emirates as an important country for the brand and are awaiting the opening of a physical store in the region to share Apple’s unique shopping experience and services.
Every Apple store sells Macintosh personal computers, software, iPods, iPads, iPhones, Apple TV, third party accessories and Apple Watches. Currently brick-and-mortar Apple Stores can be found in 16 countries, while online stores are available in 39 different countries.
