Eos is the Titan goddess of the dawn – and also the name for The Dalmore’s latest legendary offering.
The Dalmore 59 Year Old Eos comes from the Scotch Whiskey makers prized 1951 vintage. Selected from sherry casks, and now a year older and even more intense, the whiskies have been harmoniously combined to create a truly amazing experience.
The casks were filled on the same day, June 7, 1951 and left to slumber deep in The Dalmore warehouses for 59 years.
The Dalmore 59 Year Old Eos is an exhilarating explosion of honeyed pear and pineapple, of bitter dark chocolate and roasted coffee followed by soft peaches, mangos and almonds. Toffee and caramel, orange, golden syrup and cinnamon then illuminate the wonder of single malt whisky.
Just 12 stunning decanters, made from the finest Portuguese mouth blown crystal, are available in the US – at the price of $20,000 each.
