Sometimes we just love a little bit of crazy. A little bit of crazy is often mixed with with a dose of genius and a good measure of passion. That’s when you get something like the Snolo Stealth-X Carbon Fiber Sled. Created by New Zealander Sean Boyd, the Stealth-X sled is a high performance alpine sled made for some serious adult fun.
First launched in 2012, the Stealth-X is made for both compact snow and soft powered snow. It features steering ability and speed (it has been tested at over 40 mph). The Stealth-X by Snolo achieves its speed via the predominantly carbon fiber body and front ski. It is a light, sleek, compact design that assures maximum performance.
The Stealth-X can be broken down, allowing the sled to be worn as a backpack. This is perfect if you want to trek out to back country locations without much difficulty.
In 2012, the the Stealth-X was awarded the silver medal for the Concept/Experimental section in the Best Awards, New Zealand’s version of the Oscars for New Zealand industrial design.
So get yourself a Stealth-X and get a little crazy. Scream down hillsides like you never imagined.
You can get a Snolo Stealth-X Carbon Fiber Sled $2,549.
