Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster has placed her Hollywood Hills home on the market for $5.75 million. That’s a drop from the $6 million that she was asking a few months ago.
The Spanish-style villa is located in the Hollywood Hills West neighborhood of Los Angeles. It features 5,400 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The house, built in 1935, has rustic and mature feel. There are exposed beams, wood flooring and cathedral ceilings, along with modern amenities such as a private theater, gourmet kitchen, walk-in closets and a sauna. Outside there are lots of mature trees and an intimate patio.
Foster bought the home in 1997. She is a two-time Academy Award winner, best known for such films as “Silence of the Lambs,” “The Accused,” and “Taxi Driver.”
