Some serious competition for Apple’s iPhone?
Samsung’s Armani branded luxury phone – W820/W8200 – have surfaced on certain parts of the internet. The device is touted to go on sale in Korea soon and might also make a worldwide debut in the not too distant future. Incidentally, this is not the Armani branded B7620 that we had heard of back in July. The B7620 was rumored to be a Windows Mobile luxury device with an 800MHz processor, WiFi, AGPS, FM radio with RDS, a business card scanner. As for the W820/W8200, this one happens to be a slider phone with a golden trim around its screen. Featuring a 3.1 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, the phone promises a nice multimedia viewing experience. There is support for HSDPA, T-DMB and for video calling as well. The imaging front is taken care of by a 5 megapixel camera. Obviously, the phone would support video recording as well. – from TechTree
