Attractive new yacht from New Zealand.
New Zealand’s Fitzroy Yachts has just launched its latest super sailer, the Salperton IV. The 45 metre sloop with interior design by Adam Lay Studio and naval architecture by Dubois was conceived for optimal sailing performance as well as sleek aesthetics, with long range cruising capability to boot. The yacht is constructed entirely of 5083 marine grade aluminum, and features a generous beam of 9.3m with a draft of 4.75m. Her 61 metre rig is by Southern Spars kitted out with canvas by North Sails. Below decks Salperton has an owners’ cabin and three guests’ cabins aft, one of which converts to a gym, while three more forward accommodate the six crew. – From James List
