Research in Motion (RIM) – the makers of Blackberry – is reportedly going to launch a slate-type product to take on the iPad.
The BlackPad will reportedly include both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and will allow users to connect to the Internet through their BlackBerry. Front and back facing cameras – not found on the iPad – are also supposedly part of the BlackPad.
It will not include a keyboard on the touchscreen, but instead have a slide out.
The BlackPad rumors comes as RIM plans the launch of their next generation, touchscreen smartphone.
