Rihanna makes double headlines in one go as she stars on her second British Vogue cover for April 2016 as well as exclusively announces her collaboration with footwear maestro Manolo Blahnik. Designed by Rihanna, the Spring 2016 Denim Desserts collection of shoes is a rocking treat for chic feet. The singer, who has been on a shoe-design-spree lately, also models her favorite design from the new collection inside the latest issue of the English fashion bible. Featuring denim, sequins and beautiful artisan embroidery inspired by Rihanna’s hand tattoos, the capsule collection comprises six limited-edition designs. The most exclusive design of the collection is a waist-high, stiletto-heel denim boot. Dubbed, 9 to 5, the pant-like boots stands tall and rises high, featuring a pointed toe and an elaborate crystal trim along the top. The pièce de résistance is designed to be strapped on with a jewel-encrusted belt at the waist. Rihanna describes them in her own style, “Those boots are dangerous! Those boots are trouble.”Also asserting that the Denim Desserts collection aren’t “date” type shoes, the singer has also designed a more wearable option with the Dancehall Cowgirl style. It is a shorter, light-wash denim bootie festooned with beading and a lace-up front. Ranging from $900 to and $4,000, the Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik Denim Desserts shoe collection will hit the shelves from May 5 in the London, New York and Hong Komg stores exclusively.Vogue Via Manolo Blahnik
