WSJ’s Finicky Traveler Laura Landro visits two new hotels – The Four Seasons Provence at Terre Blanche and the Le Couvente des Minimes – perfectly sites for exploring the South of France.
We booked a Four Seasons “Drive Smart and Relax” package that let us pick up a car at the hotel instead of dealing with an airport rental after an overnight flight. For an extra charge, we would keep the car for the move to the Couvent, a 2 1/2-hour drive, and then return for a final night at the Four Seasons before a flight home from Nice. The plan went slightly awry when the poky Toyota Yaris the Four Seasons provided broke down hours away—but more about that later. – from WSJ
