Meet Chromebook Pixel. The first laptop entirely designed by Google. Pixel is a notebook that combines high performance with great design. It incorporates all the latest available technologies, from touch screen support to high pixel density, unveiling a premium product that both, looks and works impeccable.
Chromebook Pixel has an anodised aluminium body showcasing a neat, solid and industrial-like look. Now, let’s get to the specs. It features an Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and on top of that, the latest version comes equipped with a built-in 4G LTE cellular modem. For those who always complain about the space storage, here’s an interesting offer, worth taking into account. Each Chromebook Pixel comes also with three years of free 1TB cloud storage. Covered with a layer of Gorilla Glass, the display is protected from scratches or dust. One of the main advantages is that if it falls down, the chance to break the screen is really small.
What about the price?
Well, the price is a little bit higher than expected. It starts from $1,299 for a regular Chromebook Pixel and it goes up to $1,449 for the 4G LTE version.
Although it looks perfect in every single design detail, you may have to face a small problem. It won’t be able to run desktop software, therefore you will have to look for Chrome-compatible web-based softwares.
