Happy birthday Coca-Cola!
Call me crazy but for me the greatest part of Paris Fashion Week are the parties. One of these parties was Coca-Cola’s 125th birthday party bash, a celebration to honor the brand and it’s latest collaboration with designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. For this occasion, the beloved designer created a special JC/DC collection. The sequin dresses looked fabulous on the models who all sported black bob wigs. All the staff at the event also wore t-shirts created by the designer.
The event was held at the beautiful Trianon Theater, where chairs were moved out to open up the space for the dance floor. And due to the amazing performances from Busy P, Tomorrow’s Work and Breakbot, there was definitely some dancing going on. The venue was set up for the mood perfectly, with Coca-Cola chairs and red themes decorations. The team definitely made sure you felt like you were part of the Coca-Cola family!
It is no surprise that celebs like Dita Von Teese were on the guest list. After all, Coca-Cola is one of the world’s most recognized brands and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is Paris’ most innovative designer. Put those two together and you got yourself the perfect combination for a great party and even greater collection. A collection that also included t-shirts with Elvis Presley on them, photographed by the well-known Alfred Wertheimer. The huge Elvis fan that I am, I was stoked by the news that I can find one of those shirts at selected boutiques.
While the guests sipped on complimentary cocktails and danced the night away the hosts of the night made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Now that’s what I call a great soirée!
