Hailing from the WL Weller & Sons Distillery, but now owned by Buffalo Trace Distillery, is the exceptionally fine (and modestly priced) Old Weller Antique 107 Bourbon.
At only about $20 for a bottle of Old Weller Antique 107, this is a great buy. It is surprising complex as well as smooth. It is an amber bourbon with notes of vanilla and fruit, with a sharp, spicy finish.
Despite being 107 proof, this is an exceptionally smooth bourbon.
Many reviewers recommend adding a little water or ice, and we heartily concur. It gives Old Weller Antique 107 Bourbon as subtle and sweet finish.
