This weekend in New York brought together the largest ever world gathering of rosé producers — and rosé wine lovers! The three day spectacle and seduction for all senses was called La Nuit en Rosé.
Boasting more than 150 rosé wines and rosé champagnes from 120 wineries in 9 different countries, NYC’s second ever La Nuit en Rosé featured “ten shades of red” ranging from soft blushes from Provence to deep cérises from Tavel, and also included a truffle tasting by Urbani, an indoor lounge and live entertainment by VieVité, an Artisanal cheese buffet, and a VIP Rose Wine Pairing Dinner presented by the Wine Enthusiast and Chateau d’Esclans.
Expanding to an additional two cities — Miami and Los Angeles — after last year’s inaugural success, La Nuit en Rosé returned to New York to culminate in a massive three day sip soirée of events on board the Hornblower Infinity Yacht, treating attendees to a stunning sunset sail on the Hudson River.
In between tastings of such notable rosés as Gerard Bertrand’s Chateau la Sauvageonne Rosé GMVV ($69), Chateau d’Esclans’ Garrus rosé ($99), and Ferrari’s sparkling Perle Rosé Vintage ($81), guests could purchase their favorites right on the spot.
And that’s why everything’s coming up rosés!
