How many times a modern bungalow caught your attention?
Your dream home – pause for a moment to imagine what it would look like. Would it have a seamless flow of space throughout? Would it beautifully display art forms and personal items in a purposely created multipurpose space? If you imagine your dream home like this, this stunning residence designed by Mumbai-based studio ZZ Architects will inspire you even more. Punctuated by design elements that accentuate the use of each space, the fabulous 8,000 square foot residential bliss in Mumbai, India, rises three story high.
With an inspiring architectural concept in which two existing row houses were combined into a multidimensional living space, this modern home extrudes calmness and style. Welcomed by a minimalist terrace at the entrance, owners and guests are taken on a journey throughout the space, from the spacious living spaces to the luxury features like the home gym and home theater.
A sleek black and white kitchen showcases a formal chandelier to break down the monotony of the minimalist space. Bedrooms were cleverly designed based on the low restricting structural grid inherited from the existing row houses. Architects used contrasting shades of blue and white to create a marvelous master bedroom and fabricated dream lands to wish the lucky ones off into dream land.
Intriguing modern bungalow feature: the Glass Conservatory
A sloping glass conservatory floods the seating area with light from above, naturally extending the visual connection outside. Buddha’s face woven in silk placed at the line between indoor and outdoor creates a soothing connection to nature. In the garden, coconut palms rest next to a waterfall and decorative lights set the mood.
Enjoy the details, some of them might stick to your dream home folder!
