Jimmy Choo’s F/W collection campaign and collection is followed by the forthcoming line as well as ads for the sunny season. However the label has held on to Nicole Kidman as the face of their stunning Spring Summer 2014 campaign.
Along with the change in the collection, there is a conscious transformation of the model’s styling too in this new bold campaign. In her third season for the renowned shoe brand, Kidman is certainly not kidding around in front of the camera. This time the seductress has blown off the top by posing topless. Inspired by ‘Nature Unleashed’ aka the modern jungle according to Jimmy Choo, the promotional images of the new season have been shot by iconic photographer Sølve Sundsbø. In one image, the 46 year old actress is seen holding a neon Charlize clutch to cover her upper body. Unlike Kate Moss, who used three Versace bags to cover her modesty completely, Nicole has just made use of one Jimmy Choo bag to teasingly cover her top.
The Academy Award winning actress is also seen sporting a Jimmy Choo Blare bag while wearing an open cream-colored jacket teamed with nude briefs. The $4,100 natural and gold studded shiny python tote bag, pictured above, is available for pre-order. Also in another image, the Australian artist is clad in a black micro mini outfit to highlight the Tambar sandals ($1,250) on her feet. Though she hasn’t gone topless for all images, Kidman has certainly played well to seduce with deep plunging neckline and open jacket that leaves little to imagination.
She expresses her attitude in words too, “I really enjoyed working with Sølve, he is very creative but he is decisive and methodical in his direction. It was fun to shoot new and surprising perspectives, it felt a little bit daring dangerous. I loved the minimal styling and how the shoes and bags became like a sensual second skin to me.”
