Louis Vuitton just sent us a quick snapshot of their new store within the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The new store covers 2,550 square feet and has been designed to recreate the atmosphere of a ”hôtel particulier” in a wealthy residential district of Paris. Here’s their note:
“We are pleased to announce the opening of our new location at the iconic Las Vegas resort, Bellagio Resort & Casino. Inspired by a Parisan apartment, our gorgeous new store is laid out in three distinct rooms connected by an elegant domed-ceiling rotunda, and features a cozy balcony with patio seating from which the Bellagio’s magestic water fountains can be enjoyed.”
Previous news: Louis Vuitton North America announces the opening of its newest location at the iconic Las Vegas resort, Bellagio Resort & Casino. The new store offers a full range of the Maison’s men’s and women’s leather goods, with a special focus on exotic and made-to-order pieces, as well as the very latest in belts, sunglasses and other accessories.
“We are delighted to be unveiling our newest location at the Bellagio,” said Charles Delapalme, Senior Vice President of Louis Vuitton’s Western Region. “We wanted to offer our Las Vegas customers a truly exceptional experience, bringing them a wide array of Louis Vuitton product in an elegant and distinctive environment. Louis Vuitton Bellagio promises to bring the ultimate in sophistication, quality, and style to one of the most dynamic, experiential cities in the world.”
Adhering in design to Louis Vuitton’s latest global store concept, and featuring a striking façade rendered in exotic louro faia wood, the Bellagio store is laid out in three distinct rooms. Connecting them is an elegant domed-ceiling rotunda finished in white gold, from which an ornate murano glass chandelier is suspended. Upon entering the store, guests will be welcomed into a leathergoods and luggage area, with stone flooring and a decorative millwork and plaster ceiling. An elegant selection of rare and exceptional exotic pieces will be prominently showcased here, along with special made-to-order pieces. By passing through the central rotunda, guests may then transition into either the men’s or women’s areas, both of which feature French doors looking out across the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio. Fine wood wall paneling, inlaid with patterns and metal trims, is visible throughout the store, creating a sleek, but warm modern environment.
With visual echos of a Parisian apartment, the women’s salon will access a balcony with patio seating and signature Louis Vuitton planters, from which the Bellagio’s magestic water fountains can be enjoyed. Custom drapery will soften the abundance of natural light within, while two stunning chandeliers rendered in metal and glass from the Netherlands will illuminate the room.
