The Quartz Chair is one of those intriguing yet surprising furniture pieces, a modular armchair, made out of simple materials, such as aluminium, natural foam and solid beech. The modular chair is the result of a collaboration between the Greek design studio CTRL ZAK and the Italian designer, Davide Barzaghi.

This unique artistic expression boasts individual pieces of foam (pentagons and hexagons) that can be removed and used as simple seatings for your guests. When intact, the armchair looks extremely cozy and comfortable. You can arrange the pieces the way you want them, to suit your body. “A comforting, wraparound, microhabitat is created in this grid enriched with geometric shapes. Each of the crystals that create the seating is distinctive. The result is that each and every creation is unique and inimitable”. Quartz can change entirely the décor of a room, adding a touch of style and playfulness.

Despite the fact that it really looks amazing, the armchair costs a lot! A lot, a lot, a lot! Unless you are willing to spend a fortune, don’t dream of it! It costs $13,999 and you can purchase it from the Touch of Modern online store.
