Microsoft this week is showing a set of video games that don’t require traditional controls. Following on the success of Nintendo’s Wii, Microsoft is introducing a technology, code-named Project Natal, that takes away the controller altogether. Instead, the games will rely on a device the size of a stapler that sits on top of a living room TV to recognize faces, obey voice commands and track body movements. Theoretically, Natal allows you physically kick your leg to strike a soccer ball or wave your hand to control a virtual wand.
Rumors have stated that Natal cost between $100-150.
