High on glamour, sportiness and romance, Michael Kors Spring 2014 Collection sails high on slits and cuts too. Exceptionally tailored to woo the youth, the collection oozes of feminine aura and confident style.
Unveiled at the New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, the designer describes his collection in a poetic note, “Summer romance….softer attitude…the juxtaposition of sportif and romantic…sharply tailored meets soft and fluid..legs revealed..slashed dresses….slit skirts…luxe takes on denim…chunky gutsy city sandal…softly structured clutch and satchel…Spring 2014.”
Emphasizing on the American style, the runway was flooded with clear cut outfits, impressive coats, pencil skirts, leafy-print summer dresses, high-waisted bikinis, bandeau tops and more. Michael also dared to raise the slits higher on most of the dresses and skirts to bare sensuality.
The leather tops and skirts, belted georgette dresses, well-sculpted blazers, gloriously appliquéd lace outfits and linen dance dresses embellished with floral hand-embroidery have been conceptualized for the savvy, young American dame who intends to keep it casual, trimmed with classy attitude.
Almost all of the chic collection is effortlessly wearable right off the runway and perfect for confident lasses.
