Justin Bieber seems to be taking his new role of facing the camera for the fashion world tad seriously and is working hard to be in the spotlight for all the right reasons this year. Close on heels of his Calvin Klein ads, he has again hit the headlines for being lensed by none other but Karl Lagerfeld.
V Magazine’s music issue is back with some of the biggest stars in the business, and the one we’re betting big on features Justin Bieber, photographed and interviewed by Karl Lagerfeld.
The fashion shoot proves Bieber is on a shirtless rampant as he is seen flaunting his physique as well as tattoos in the striking black and white photos. As the pop idol crosses over from teens to adulthood, he is open about letting the world know what is in store for 2015 and also the influence of internet on his career.
When questioned by Kaiser about how he foresees his career evolving and if he has unfulfilled ambitions, Justin replies, “Of course. I’m still young. I still have so many personal and professional goals I want to achieve. I want to keep creating music for my fans. One day I hope to make strides into movies and fashion as well. I want to share my creativity with the world.”
Also when Karl asked him how he imagines himself at 30, the 20 year old singer answered, “I hope I am still blessed to be performing and making music. I hope to have a family too.”

JB I love performing live. It’s my favorite part of my job.
KL Can you really play the guitar?
JB Yes.
KL What is the one thing you would never do in life?
JB Give up on myself, my family, or my fans.
KL Who are your favorite musicians from the past?
JB Michael Jackson.
KL When was the first time you had the feeling that you had become a success?
JB I performed at a water park in New York at the very beginning of my career and thousands of girls showed up to see me in the rain.
KL Do you imagine what your career would have been like without the Internet?
JB The Internet has been a huge part of my career. I was discovered on YouTube. I use Twitter, Instagram, Shots, and Fahlo to communicate with my fans on a daily basis. Things would be totally different without it. I definitely wouldn’t be able to have the personal relationship I have with my fans without social media.
KL What is the next step in your fabulous career?
JB I’m going to start working on a new album and a tour for 2015. I took the last year off and I’m excited to get back to work.
