A nice way to help out a great cause.
Jewelry designer Anna Ruth Henriques is asking consumers to give a piece of their hearts to benefit Doctors Without Borders. The Jamaican artist and designer has crafted a new “Mini Heart” pendant molded in the form of a human heart. Retailing for $395, the pendant hangs from an organic cotton chord and is made from sterling silver and 18-karat yellow gold with ruby accents. “Having grown up in Jamaica, I watched as entire communities lived without access to good medical care,” Henriques said in a media release. “They suffered from poverty, a shortage of doctors and modern medical equipment.” – From National Jeweler Network
