My3D, a pair of 3D glasses with a slot for an iPhone or iPod touch is coming next spring. Hasbro is promising to deliver 3D content and 360-degree gaming with the $30 device.
Hasbro is reportedly working with Dreamworks Animation to develop material. They are also going to tap into content from 3D TV networks like the Discovery Channel.
The 3D glasses will be marketed to both kids and adults – and the low entry price should make it an easy buy for most people. The key will be the quality of the 3D.
