The Greenwich Hotel in New York is partnering with Shinola, a Detroit, Michigan brand of luxury handcrafted accessories, including bicycles, watches, and leather accessories, to offer his & her “Bixby” bicycles, which retail for $1,950, to their guests to use during their visit.
Located one block away from the Hudson River Park in Manhattan, guests can enjoy a bicycle ride of the city’s best sights from Battery Park to the George Washington Bridge paired with a locally sourced, gourmet picnic lunch. The Bixby is a handcrafted three-speed cruiser bike with leather saddles and an American-made steel fork and frame designed for comfort, utility and smooth urban riding in wet or dry weather.
After a leisurely ride, guests can visit Shinola’s NYC Flagship Store at 177 Franklin Street in TriBeCa, which is a stone-throw-away from The Greenwich Hotel, browse their collection of watches, leather goods, and journals, as well as learn about the brand’s dedication to reviving the American manufacturing industry and its commitment to craftsmanship.
Owned by actor Robert De Niro, The Greenwich Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel with 88 unique rooms and suites, a verdant and secluded courtyard, the Japanese-inspired Shibui Spa and award-winning restaurant Locanda Verde. The new Shinola bicycle program highlights The Greenwich Hotel’s attention to providing authentic customer care of the highest quality.
