What do chips, cola, candies and Chanel have in common? All of them can be bought off vending machines! Except that Chanel’s eye-defining product will be exclusively dispensed from a new Chanel vending machine at Selfridges Oxford Street only from April 25 to May 8. Chanel is debuting Le Volume de Chanel Mascara along with their latest fully functional mechanical vending machine in London. The French fashion brand’s first volumizing mascara will be offered in Noir, Prune and Bleu shades. Once the shoppers have selected their favored color, they will be given a token with Chanel-logo to buy the mascara from the vending machine.
Le Volume de Chanel Mascara is designed to include a patented Snowflakes brush which is composed of stacked discs to coat, lengthen and separate the lashes. Boasting of the quick-drying formula, the $30 mascara will be officially launched on 3rd May.
Vogue reports that mascara shoppers from the vending machine will also gain a tiny Chanel lip gloss and a preview of the Summer 2013 collection.
Present at the pop-up booth, Chanel’s make-up experts will also tip fashionistas for the perfect smoky eye makeover.
