Saying that it makes the car sportier and even more fun to drive, Ferrari announced they’ve tuned the California T to improve it’s already impressive handling capabilities. The Ferrari California T HS – Handling Speciale – includes an upgraded suspension, recalibrated transmission and custom exhaust system.
Modified springs and new damper settings make the car stiffer in sport mode, and though marginally compromising ride quality, make the droptop GT dig even harder into those tight canyon corners and improves acceleration out through increased traction. The transmission logic has been reset to allow for quicker up and downshifts. And, the California T HS exhaust system has been redesigned with silencers that have two primary pipes. In addition to better breathing for enhanced performance, the new exhaust also sounds spectacular, getting progressively louder as the car gains speed.
While there are no major changes to the California T’s appearance, you’ll be able to differentiate the HS edition by the new Grigio Ferro Met matte front grille and the matte black tailpipes.
Ferrari will officially debut the California T HS at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
