Almonds are full of essential fatty acids that help keep your hormones at balanced levels. Any type of nut for that matter provide the basis for the healthy production of male hormones that are important in regulating sex-drive. “They’re also a very good source of energy,” says Dr. Michael Aziz, author of The Perfect 10 Diet. You can eat them raw or drink them. Either way, they are great for increasing sex drive.

Breakfast snack:
Eat 10 raw and unroasted almonds for breakfast. Soak the almonds in water for a night, peel the skin next morning and eat them.

Almond drink:
For a strengthening drink, you need:
10 raw almonds
1 cup warm milk
1 teaspoon natural sugar
a pinch of saffron
a pinch of nutmeg

Soak the 10 almonds overnight and peel the skin off in the next morning. Add to the milk, together with the other ingredients and blend well in a blender.

Most importantly, eat them raw (with no added salt or sweetness). Or, crush some fresh almonds and sprinkle them on your salad to get the energy you need.
