Some houses miss those key elements that transform the space from boring to cheery. A simple, elegant display of stylized knots captured in the shell of a comfortable set of cushions can save the appearance in an instant. These fantastic melange grey oversized cushions engage the eye as well as the skin – a pleasant showcase of undulating lines intertwining to shape a soft but sturdy furniture piece. Inspiration came from old weaving techniques, complemented by knotting and conceptualized by the mind of Prague-based design studio Kumeko.
In order to result in such an inspiring look, the unique plaited upholstery had to be developed by Kumeko themselves, creating a designer cushion prepared to take this field to another level. Made of soft upcycled jersey tubes filled with highly resilient foam, the Knotty floor cushions come in regular (80x80x40 cm) and mini (50x50x30 cm)sizes. The basic grey color can be easily suited for modern interiors, but other colors are available on request.
