If you’re looking for a modern, unique bench to use in your home office space, this piece of furniture named the Tri-fold Bench has every chance to become part of your interior design. Designed by Douglas Leckie, the solution found for a resting space within the office seems to blur the lines between living space and office space. Displaying an unpretentious, highly contemporary design, the bench was developed as part of a collaboration between manufacturing company Herman Miller and students from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.
Made out of three layers of upholstered panels resting on a ash hardwood skeleton, the bench proves to be very useful during the “cool down” periods at the office. The three cushions can be reconfigured according to specific needs of the person interacting with them. With a subtle style, this bench proves that an office can be more than just a rigid space – it can be transformed into an exciting place to enjoy your work, helped by versatile pieces of furniture.
