Christian Dior’s largest flagship store in China opens its doors in Chaoyang district, Beijing. The French luxury label heads to the capital of China to make a big statement in the luxury shopping market in the East Asia despite reports of slowing economic growth and declining sales. The newest destination to shop Dior women’s collections, including ready-to-wear, evening wear, accessories, shoes, fine jewelry,  timepieces, also comes with a VIP Lounge.Dior_boutiquebeijing_5To celebrate the opening of such a grand flagship, Dior has also launched products exclusive to this store. Festive shoppers can cheer up with the availability of limited-edition products including the Diorama bag in metallic lizard or blue and pink python, a Dior VIII Grand Bal Plissé watch, a Rose des Vents bracelet or necklace in pink gold, ruby and mother of pearl, and the Diorelita Zodiac Monkey collection in gold and red lacquer.Dior_boutiquebeijing_3Located in the China World Mall, the newest Beijing boutique rises across two levels and features a floor-to-ceiling, double layer glass façade that reflects the Parisian fashion house’s ‘Cannage’ print.Dior_boutiquebeijing_1The store, which is also Dior’s third in Beijing, boasts of interiors designed by Peter Marino. The elegant interiors have been inspired by Dior’s iconic Avenue Montaigne flagship. A carefully curated group of artworks by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists displayed throughout the store also ups the luxe quotient of the store. The stunning artworks include a bench by Terence Main, a video art wall by Yorame, a sculpture Siamese Metal 5 from British artist Richard Deacon, the work Waterwall, Roselyn by Gregory Ryan and table lamps by Véronique Rivemale. On the second floor, the footwear section is adorned by a Gaia Imprint Low Table, designed by Vincent Dubour.dior_boutique_BeijingWhile furniture pieces from Guillaume Piéchaud, Paolo Giordano and Timothy Horn dot the space, the store’s private VIP salon is decked with two Mineral Commodes designed by Juan & Paloma.dior_boutique_Beijing_2
