Dior’s Largest Store In China Opens In Beijing

Christian Dior’s largest flagship store in China opens its doors in Chaoyang district, Beijing. The French luxury label heads to the capital of China to make a big statement in the luxury shopping market in the East Asia despite reports of slowing economic growth and declining sales. The newest destination to shop Dior women’s collections, including ready-to-wear, evening wear, accessories, shoes, fine jewelry,  timepieces, also comes with a VIP Lounge.Dior_boutiquebeijing_5To celebrate the opening of such a grand flagship, Dior has also launched products exclusive to this store. Festive shoppers can cheer up with the availability of limited-edition products including the Diorama bag in metallic lizard or blue and pink python, a Dior VIII Grand Bal Plissé watch, a Rose des Vents bracelet or necklace in pink gold, ruby and mother of pearl, and the Diorelita Zodiac Monkey collection in gold and red lacquer.Dior_boutiquebeijing_3Located in the China World Mall, the newest Beijing boutique rises across two levels and features a floor-to-ceiling, double layer glass façade that reflects the Parisian fashion house’s ‘Cannage’ print.Dior_boutiquebeijing_1The store, which is also Dior’s third in Beijing, boasts of interiors designed by Peter Marino. The elegant interiors have been inspired by Dior’s iconic Avenue Montaigne flagship. A carefully curated group of artworks by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists displayed throughout the store also ups the luxe quotient of the store. The stunning artworks include a bench by Terence Main, a video art wall by Yorame, a sculpture Siamese Metal 5 from British artist Richard Deacon, the work Waterwall, Roselyn by Gregory Ryan and table lamps by Véronique Rivemale.
